How and why
"We got the idea after receiving an awful lot of unnecessary service reports.
It was hotel guests trying to see free Pay TV by changing over the network
cables in the back of the TV", says innovators Peter & Christer Lundholm
who runs the installation company Fästpunkten ( www.fastpunkten.se ).
"When we after some brain work solved the problem and realized the need
and opportunity for others with the same problem. After this we applied for a patent."
"Like all entrepreneurs we work a lot and soon realized that we cant run
our company and at the same time try to start up a new product for a
market that don’t know anything about RJ45Lock. So we asked two of our
friends if they wanted to be partners in business.
Andreas Ek and Mikael Wiklund are two friends that we’ve known and
cooperated with for a long time and they have been involved in the brain
storming that we had during the development of our product. So now we
run and own the company together under the name RJ Lock AB.
On October 11, 2005 our patent was announced in Sweden on the 18 of October
showed our product at the technical fair in Stockholm. The product was
received with great curiosity and wide interest.
RJ45Lock is now patent pending in most parts of the world.
